Sushi Togemaruyama Koen Ten — Restaurant in Sapporo

My husband and I visited the sushiya on one fine day in early February. We made a reservation using the Tabelogu website. All the dishes were amazing and so was the chef. The restaurant is on the second floor with huge windows giving off such a cool and cozy vibe all together. It's a short walk from the nearest subway station and a little away from the downtown area, but if you'd like to visit either the temple or Moiwa Observatory, then it's the sushiya to go to. Do you want a very local omakase? This will not disappoint you. The chef could only speak Japanese and all the guests were Japanese. It had only like 7 seats so very cosy and upscale feeling and absolutely local, not touristy at all. The chef and server were very professional, warm and explanatory using google translate. Their choice of fishes/seaweeds were very Hokkaido specific, which is the whole reason why you would look for an expensive omakase place, here. Their Sake selections were also amazing. 2020年11月中旬に訪問。 仕事で北海道に行った時に同社の人間とお伺いしました！ すすきの界隈は当時クラスター云々カンヌンがありあまり気にはしていませんでしたが周辺で探すことに、その際に色々調べるとこちらのお店が良さそうでしたので予約しました。

久々に札幌駅に着いた時ですら人の少なさに驚きましたが夜になるともっと少なかったです！

この日は社会情勢もあり予約は私達だけでした。 逆にだからこそ良かったです！大将も人柄もよくお店の成り立ちや大将のここまでの話などを聞けました。 話が盛り上がり、コースは終わったもののカラスミをあてにサービスしてくれて引き続き飲ませてもらいました笑 マグロもあてに出してくれてサービス精神旺盛で感動したのを覚えています。
