Great service, food, and atmosphere. Feels like it is at an underground beach. American feel good music in the background that makes you want to dance in your seat a bit, but everything else is very authentic Japanese Izakaya style that you want to be apart of. I would suggest many tourist coming to Sendai to check out this restaurant to have a great dinner. The food is amazing; flavor, fresh, preparation; the menu concept is designed in a very special way that is very exclusive by its owner and chef; the chef cooks in front and very helpful to your desires; **I am a vegetarian that does not speak much Japanese at all, but they provided great service/understanding and menu options just for me that made my taste buds happy for sure! おすすめのお酒で「ことぶき」をいただきました！にごり酒、とってもスッキリして魚介によく合う。。もとは福島で造られていたようで、震災後山形でまた復興のために酒造を始められたようです。 頂いた料理はカツオの藁タタキ、ライムとお塩がよく合いました。他にも太刀魚のコロッケ、じゃがいもがスモーク。香りがたまらなかったです! 他にもたくさんいただきましたが、食べるのに夢中で写真を取れず‥ お店の雰囲気も、店員さんと距離近く、かつ席もパーティなどに使えるほど確保されており、カウンター・テーブル、両方行けます。 仙台一番町いたらオススメ！ For startersy, we got the sake on tap: Kotobuki. Real light and smooth. Went super well with all the seafood we had! Apparently it's from a Sake brewery originally from Fukushima, but moved it's operations to Yamagata after 2011's earthquake. I was told that now the owner of the brewery is trying to rebuild that brand they had, and I can honestly say that they know what they're doing. Speaking of which, I couldn't get any photos of the food we had because we were just busy digging in.... Staffs were real friendly and heartwarming. You could sit at the counter or table.
