We didn’t have a reservation, but luckily the server arranged a large room for just the two of us. The server’s English wasn’t great, and they knew we didn’t eat beef tongue or innards (I know), but they still tried hard to explain the menu to us. In the end, we ordered the special beef platter and the Soboro Gohan recommended by the server. Soboro Gohan is basically minced beef rice. The beef wasn’t the usual kind of minced meat, and with the meat juices combined with the sticky Japanese rice, we finished it all before the main dish even arrived. From the special beef platter (特選牛仁盛り), our favourite was the aged top loin (ロース). The rich fat burst in the mouth, and it basically melted without needing to chew. Next was the lean beef with wasabi (赤身山葵焼き); we’d never tried this style before. The first bite was refreshing, and it wasn’t as sharp as we expected—very unique! Although the top rib (カルビ)was also delicious, by the second piece, it felt too fatty. Later, we added two more servings of Toriyama loin. Compared to the top-grade cut, it was much leaner, with a strong beef flavour and very tender. Overall, it was a very satisfying wagyu yakiniku meal.

We tried No.1 Sendai beef course. It was a great experience. I loved beef tounge and skirt steak the most. The rest of the beef was also quite good but I think sendai beef overall weren't as good as the other famous beef brands. It's the first time that I have tried beef innards which I would day I'm yet to drawn to its unique texture but i also didn't hate it. The service was excellent. Even some of the staff can only speak basic English but they gave us enough eating instrucitons so we can fully enjoy the meal. Please don't forget to order fresh wasabi.

We were initially attracted to this restaurant because of all the great photos on Google reviews, and it did not disappoint! Arriving at the restaurant, we were promptly welcomed and seated in a private BBQ room! The server was very friendly and did his best to understand our broken Japanese and answer questions. He also brought an English menu to help us out! The food was delicious, the best yakiniku we’ve had since arriving in Japan.

An amazing experience!! We discovered this restaurant by reading the ratings for yakiniku restaurants on Google maps and oh wow.

This was without the shadow of a doubt the best meat I have ever eaten.

The waitresses were very kind and though the experience was at first very confusing for the oblivious europeans we were, they made sure we were comfortable and had an English menu we could order from.

The setting was excellent as well: We were set in a very nice personal room with a small locker for our vests and belongings, and were very comfortable.

In short, everything was perfect and far exceeded our expectations! Thank you so very much, Yakiniku...
