Tha Chang — Restaurant in Sendai

The food, the staff, and atmosphere here was very good! Tha Chang is for sure one of the best restaurants for Thai food in Japan.

Spring Rolls - Pretty decent. They seemed a bit chewy but that doesn't bother me at all. The sauce was spicy with these but again, doesn't bother me! I love spice.

Shrimp and Avocado Salad - This is by far THE BEST salad I have ever had in my life. This salad is perfect!

Tom Yum Soup - It was very good. The portion looked small but it was actually good enough for two people in my opinion.

Pad Thai - We ordered extra noodles and got rice with it. It was very delicious Pad Thai! Portion was also good.

Rip-off for dinner. We ordered Tom Yam Kung for about 1600 yen... It had three shrimps, three mushrooms, a couple inedible peppers and a couple vegetables and looked completely different from the picture. Everything else is equally expensive given the amount of food you get. Additionally they charge 440 as a table charge even if you don't order alcohol. Amazing Thai restaurant close to Sendai Station. The owner and staff are all so friendly and attentive! Come for lunch for affordably priced meals or at dinner time for drinks and bites with friends. For lunch, they offer a drink set for just 150 yen which includes an all-you-can-drink menu with soft drinks, coffee and tea.
