A wonderful gem of an establishment run by a lovely couple. We drive into town on Friday hoping for dinner, arriving at Sushi Take. We inquired about parking and they directed us to a parking space reserved for diners of their restaurant.
We sat down at the bar and ordered using our limited Japanese (we’re visiting from America). The General met us with great patience and humor (we would order a few more times by pointing at the meal sets on the first few pages of the menu). The food was spectacular. At one point, the general realized he ran out of Kenmedai (Golden Eye Snapper— a must try). The general let out a small sigh… then pulled out a fresh snapper and proceeded to smile and pose for pictures.
