Loved my stay here!
Yes it’s a really old ryokan. But if you want an authentic experience this is the place to go. It felt like you can stay and be part of the town.
The staff were super accommodating and they always greet you with a smile. I can’t really speak Japanese fluently, but they have these translation devices ready to help and understand.
The hotel also lends you bicycles (limited) for free. I got yo bike around. And it takes you to the loveliest beach around the area. You can also drive there and they have multiple lots available for you. There’s a little arcade (really small so don’t expect a big one) a karaoke room (how cool ya). Coin laundry and dryer!

Read moreNegative: It’s an old hotel. The rooms are very smelly, because smoking is allowed in the rooms. We didn’t know when we booked so I was disappointed. Positive things: The staff is very kind and brought an air purifier into our room. 5* to the staff members and the views, but the building needs a lot of cleaning or a solid renovation.
