If in the end of this review and the other bad ones, you still decide to come to this restaurant… make sure you make a reservation otherwise it can be a long wait. (We made a reservation and waited for like 5 mins only)
So! Food! The choices were few and the quality was low. I saw a review from over a year ago, where the theme is “salmon and crab”. So it happens, it was also this theme when we went. As you can imagine everyone flocked over to grab those crab legs, which were mediocre. As for their salmon, they were cut up in chunks and was probably pour it out of some bag. Next to that were some scallop meat too. There was also a salmon hand roll option, and that concludes our cold seafoods / sashimi section!
They had this steak that tasted alright, but the texture was way off. Probably soaked in tenderisers for days. But the taste was ok!
They had about 4-5 Chinese food selection, and it’s suppose to be hot foods, but it was room temperature…. Which pretty much was cool
It’s really not worth the time or the money, I recommend going to the little restaurants in the resort area. Like that ramen shop was actually good.
By the way! If you are going in the winter season, there is a tube that allows you to walk from the tower to the Hal. And it is “indoor” but do not be mistaken, that tube is still cold as hell. So remember to wear enough clothes...
Read moreThis place is a buffet, so the food is instantaneous. The food there is absolutely amazing. The beef there it's extremely tender and full of flavour. The other food are also very well done and this is probably one of the best places to eat in Tomamu, Japan. The staff service is also perfect. The trays that you eat off are almost instantly taken away by the time you come back to eat. The place is quite expensive but the price is definitely worth it. Not too much crowding so there's always space. Overall, the best restaurant I've been to in my life and recommended...
Read moreOne of the buffet that I try in Hoshino Tomamu. The selection is not as good as the one I had at nininupuri.
To be honest I don't know if they all the restaurant serve the same breakfast or not, but when we had breakfast at hal, it serves French toast, ramen and the rest are the same as at nininupuri. The place is a bit old too.
While at nininupuri, there are raw salmon, ikura etc which u can eat with rice.
I didn't take the picture of the food here. I end up eating mostly the western food and a mini bowl of ramen.
But overall...
