Good dinner buffet for a good price. We went for dinner and the price for each adult is 3900 yen. You have one hour and a half to eat your fill with all the options in the restaurant. We have seafood area (mainly shrimp, scallops, diced raw Salmon/ cooked salmon as well, octopus); meat like beef, cooked lamb cooked live and portioned Infront of you by the chefs, chicken and potatoes; carbohydrates like alot of potatoes, cheese 🧀; Fried food like chicken, french fries, hot dog; other miscallaneous dishes like pickled salmon, crab miso soup, picked fish, soba noodles etc. My favourite station being the drinks and the dessert as there's alcohol, more than 7 sodas, any drink you'd want; the dessert station include 5 different kinds of cake portioned to one bite size pieces (flavours include Tiramisu, strawberry, matcha crunch, unbaked cheesecake, brownie) and an unsweetened ice cream 🍦 area. You can make coffee as well, cappuccino (this is good), cafe latte, cafe au lait or multiple selection of tea (green tea, earl grey, English breakfast etc). The meal was delicious and filling, definitely recommend the ice cream and the beef 🍖 as it's the best in the restaurant.
Their breakfast buffet I believe was 2900 yen. Would like to try it as well since their dinner buffet was...
Read moreAltering having a bad experience in The Hal, we had to bet on this restaurant as it was the buffet spot recommended online. We know it had a kick butt view, and it was famous for its French toast and sushi rice bowl. We went SUPER early (6:10am) to make sure we get an ideal spot so my gf can take pictures to her heart’s desire. We manage to be the first to arrive, and shortly after others appeared.
Alright! Food! So for their sushi bowl, it’s one of those cube cuts of random seafoods mixed into some sort of slime. Then you scoop up the slime and pour it onto your bowl of rice. Sorry, it’s not good. You get different texture as you chew, but essentially everything taste the same. So… NOT recommended
French toast! It was good! Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. They had this whipped cream that went very well with the French toast. I had 3-4 pieces during breakfast
Everything else was mediocre. The food choices will seem like a lot at first, but turns out they double up on the same foods in different islands. So there are two sushi rice & udon island, two...
Read moreWorst breakfast among 4 Hotels/Resorts we have stayed. This restaurant and the other one (hal) at Hoshino Resort serve same breakfast menu. The crossiant and other pastries are kind of hard and doesn't taste fresh. There is only one egg dish which is the scramble egg (watery type). There is not even an whole hard boil egg. Both restaurants has no fresh fruits. They both serve canned fruits which has bad quality. Hard to find steel utensils as they are using disposable wooden spoons, forks and butter knifes which compromise the dining experience. While service is average, food (breakfast) is of low quality. The breakfast buffets do not justify for the...
