Tenboudai Cafe — Restaurant in Shirakawa

The view point from the area in front of the souvenir is the no.1 look out point for Shirakawago. When i was there some time back, it rained that moment and quite a few tourists took shelter at the souvenir shop facade. However, it was about closing time and the shopkeeper (or staff, a medium height man) rudely pushed me away as he wanted to set up the barrier outside the shop. This was really not the polite nature of most Japanese. Do take note when you do encounter similar situation. I will highlight this to the tourism board for follow up and hope that person will refrain from his inconsiderate behaviour and spoiling...

The ice cream was quite delicious. But in order to access to the dining table, each person needed to order at least one item.

注文する所の女性の接客が最悪でした。 星1つも付けたくないくらい。

展望台に登る前の楽しい時間が吹っ飛ぶほど嫌な気分にさせられました。

外国人を多く相手にしてるからか、ひたすらずっとタメ口。 フレンドリーな接客と言われればそれまでだけど、顔や態度、口調からから後ろが詰まってるんだからモタモタせずさっさと注文しろというのが伝わってきました。

さらに追い打ちをかけられたのが、席に着いた後に注文した商品と違うのが手元にある事に気づき、それを伝えに行った時でした。

お客さんの列もまだあり、接客中だったので少し離れた所で待機しつつ、タイミングを見計らって声をかけると、「今忙しいから後で聞いてね〜」とあしらわれ、声をかけるタイミングが悪かったかなと待機していました。

数分待っても一向にお客さんの列が減らず、まったく相手にしてくれそうな空気では無かったので、食べる気も失せて景色も楽しむこともなくそのまま場所を後にしました。

ああいう接客が好きな人も居るでしょうが、自分は初めてクチコミを書きたくなった程本当に嫌な気分になりました。
