Udon Bou — Restaurant in Takamatsu

It's one of the few udon places with a regular restaurant experience. So if you want to sit down and relax and talk while eating udon this is a great place to go. It was a little small for me to move around well and hard to manoeuvre around other customers.

The udon is better than average, wife liked it more but I know a few places which I like the taste of more.

The place looks to cater more to tourists rather than locals. I see more locals lining up the udon shop nearby, whereas the people eating here looks more foreign and local moms.

They do have english menu and accept credit cards.

The udon was nice, it taste like local udon but the price is more expensive than local udon.

When we arrive they have run out of oden, the tempura is a bit cold and soggy.

So arrive earlier if you can. I like the AC is cold. And the service is fast.

Great place for quick, affordable, and delicious udon! Not sure about the names or what we got, but posted photos below and you can reference on their menu. The bowl by itself was heavy ginger based broth with marinated tofu and other garnish. If you have an aversion to ginger, probably not a good choice for you. The bowl with the tempura was a miso based broth with ginger and lemon, which added a nice zing! Great choice - recommend for those in Takamatsu looking for udon...
