Would not recommend because of the service - they overcharged me by getting me confused with the upselling and speed of service and telling me to move out of the way and collect my food when I was trying to count the change, all because I was a tourist and couldn’t understand Japanese. I only realised of the overcharge after I sat down to eat and recalculated what I actually ordered.
Overall I had the tuna mayo onigiri, Alaska pollock onigiri, hida beef onigiri and the hida pork soup. The soup was good but the tuna mayo onigiri at 7/11 are better - the seaweed on the onigiri at this establishment were soggy and ratio was off between filling, rice...
Read moreWe were enticed by the adorable looking little shop and the onigiri in the window. We tried the brown rice with green onion miso and the brown rice with perilla miso. The rice isn’t as sticky as the onigiri you might buy in the supermarket (clearly I know so much about onigiri…ha) but I enjoyed the texture. What I really loved was the miso – wow it was so delicious. Both were very good but that onigiri with green onion miso was salty and a little subtle sweet and shoot it just tastes so good with rice! They also came out warm which made me happy. Adorable and tasty...
Read moreThis is a nice onigiri shop. Very nice to eat on the way sized onigiri. If you eat around the shop they provide you with a trail and paper cups with soup. I like the fact that they are using paper cups instead of plastic. They should improve the use of paper and less plastic but it's a great start, even wooden spork! (fork and spoon in one). A bit pricy for the quantity but tasty food. The only down is the opening time which is quite short! Only morning!
