Waraji — Restaurant in Takayama

When I entered this restaurant, already I felt something very unkind. Both two of owners couples’s behavior were quite unwelcome. First of all, the price! After eating I was surprised , Only 1 yakidori was 300yen and small otoshi dish(otoshi; unordered dish before main foods) was 500yen. Alcohol Shouzu was too watery to taste it and Ramen also same situation. The female owner often blowed her nose and sometimes wiped in her clothes and then broke ice with that same hands. So insanitary scene. As soon as coming out from the restaurant, I realized the price was something wrong and visited again to make correct. they received 50yen more. Of course I know this is small money. However the owners laughed with other frequent guests and made me very ridiculous. Even Far from any apology, they showed very rude and mean behavior. However I’m not good at talking Japanese language and I don’t want to waste time for those people. I got a good memory in ‘Hida no sato’ but lost some good memory in this restaurant. This is very sad. Especially very bad place...

Siamo andati a mangiare io e un amico premetto che non abbiamo visto recensioni prima. Siamo entrati e non ci ha dato retta nessuno vediamo tutti i cartelli appesi in giapponese al che comincio a fare foto per tradurre. Ovviamente ne ho dovuto fare diverse perchè il traduttore umano non è preciso. Il mio amico traduce cosa voleva e li fa leggere al signore che fumava alla griglia, io vengo rimproverato dal signore che non voleva che facessi foto…alla fine gli traduco con il traduttore che non conoscendo il giapponese avevo bisogno di tradurre. Lui legge e mi fa segno basta con le foto… alchè gli faccio vedere una foto con del riso fritto, una foto con degli spiedini e delle salsicce e la birra…di questo mi è arrivato del pollo fritto che non avevo ordinato e la birra… Mentre al mio amico è arrivato tutto(anche se nei piatti prevaleva la cipolla) Ovviamente io attendevo ma nulla arrivava fino a quando moglie e marito hanno chiuso cucina.loro non si ponevano domande… una volta finito non ho detto nulla perché sicuro non avrebbero capito e siamo andati al family mart che è aperto 24 ore. Non è un locale...

If you’re tourist or foreigners, run away!!! They charged me 1100 Yen for 2 small chicken wings and a beer !! Different price charged from local customer. Take aged to prepare food and unfriendly chef. Better take food from nearby Family...
