I visited this restaurant after my search for high reputation Italian. The taste was beyond expectation. As to pasta, when I asked if they can prepare peperoncino, which was not in the menu, the chef nicely accepted if I can wait a bit longer for the unusual preparation. The pizza was excellent, too, especially in the thin and crispy bread base. What is nice is this restaurant does not force us to order main course. We were already satisfied with first plates. Needing a change from noodles and rice, we found this restaurant while staying in Takayama. Because we don't speak Japanese the chef who is absolutely nice translated to us the whole menu orally :) we had 2 pizzas, which are Italian style (very thin crust: perfect), both were exquisite. I also had a tiramisu, probably one of the best tiramisus I've ever eaten (and I've eaten a lot of them...). Price range is 1000-1400¥ for a pizza, other meals 1000-2000¥. The chef also has an excellent selection of...
