This is one place that many have touted as “must visit and must try” whenever one visits Shikoku, Tokushima. So we made it our first stop on landing at Tokushima.
We ordered individual sets of ramen with extra egg, and ramen with white rice. All sets with extra sliced meat.
The ramen broth was observed to be on the oily side, and first taste revealed the saltiness within the broth. Although the ramen noodles were tangy and well cooked, the saltiness of the noodles themselves were on the high side. As we tried the meat, we were again overwhelmed by their saltiness, to the extent that the usual meat that comes with the ramen bowl lacks taste. As we ate, the white rice apparently came in handy, to neutralise the saltiness within the noodles, meat and broth.
Unfortunately, this ramen is not a recommendation if one is on a low-salt diet and certainly not for any individual who would like to maintain a healthy lifestyle with a daily low...

We had had lunch and had dinner plans but didnt want to miss out so we ordered one small ramen with a raw egg for 50 yen and bamboo shoots for another 100yen extra.
