Yasube — Restaurant in Tokushima

You know it’s going to be good when you see many locals eating at the restaurant…. the locals always know.

I recommend getting there a bit earlier, as there were people waiting 20 minutes before opening (11am).

The restaurant gets quite busy, so please refrain from bringing large luggages with you.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The food was delicious, especially the sashimi. Everything we ordered was great. They serve Kirin and Asahi beer and a wide variety of sakes. You can also get highballs and sour drinks.

Please note that menu is in Japanese, so use Google translate to help you order. There is an English menu available, as well. You can also find specialty food items written on menus attached to the wall.

Value for money, super tasty Japanese food. They serve lunch set. Super worth for lunch. You can see mostly local Japanese customers visit this small restaurant.

They have counter seat and table at 1st floor and tatami seat at 2nd floor.

We ordered 2 lunch sets with 2 small dishes. The shirako (Fish Sperm) 🤣🤣🤣is super good. Give it a try. You won't regret.
