Tenshimbaru Yasunaga — Restaurant in Tokushima

Never go here again even I don’t have any choice.

Before I sit down, the waiter had been putting on his angry face already. I didn’t know what I do wrong. When he put the meal on the table, he still look angry. However, he smile nicely when other foreigners came into the restaurant.

Did he angry because I am an Asian that don’t understand Japanese? Feeling sad when the waiter looked angry to me in...

Has ramen in the local style as well as various Chinese dishes. The sweet and sour pork had local potatoes along with the usual onions and peppers and was fried well, but the portion was pretty small and the remaining side dishes weren't enough to fill me up... But in my infinite wisdom, I also ordered a half-bowl of Tokushima ramen. I opted for the heavier broth, which had the big hit of pork flavor...

Wasn't quite the Tokushima ramen I was expecting and a bit disappointed that the iconic raw egg wasn't included in the standard option... If you like a lighter broth, not a bad option. The fried rice combo seemed like a better choice, but the gyoza (fried dumpling) wasn't bad either.
