it is really delightful to visit this shabu-shabu (ie hotpot) specialty all you can eat restaurant with Kie and Ryuichi! We did not make reservation and it was necessary to wait for the seats for sometime as with quite a lot of locals, i know as i can speak some japanese, we can choose two soup base from about seven options for the hotpot, the pork and beef have different variety to choose, and also desserts (self made waffle - thanks to Ryuichi for helping to make it, icecream…) and vegetables, all quite fresh/delicious, and sauces and condiments of different variety and taste, customers seem to be mostly young people, all in all, it is great value for money to dine in this shabu shabu restaurant and we had an...

It is mostly self-service when it comes to the fillings of the pot, so its great to experiment with many different flavours. It is all you can eat, but there is no time limit. Overall it was a great experience and we had so much tasty food. To top it all off, it is SUPER reasonably priced, dare I...
Read moreYou don't go to Shabuyo for the atmosphere or service. Go for the food. It's an all-you-can-eat buffet for meat, veggies and tofu dipped in soup. Choose your soups, choose the spice and quality of meat. They also have desserts included with free refills (waffles and ice cream with toppings) and make your own pudding. IF YOU ARE STRICTLY VEGITARIAN: do not go here. There is not an option for a meatless course. You cannot argue with the staff for it either as everything is done through touch pad. And most soups have some animal...
