【2024/01/12】星5から降格 今年初のやすべえは馬場本店と決めていた。 注文は大熱辛味MAX。 スープは辛味だけでコクなし。 麺もこしがなくやや茹ですぎ。 スープ割りは本当に少量で味も水っぽく。 配達員に声がけできていなかった。

【2023/04/15】 雨降る土曜の夕刻。隣の客と2、3席間を空けて座れるくらいの客数。店員さんは5人。今回の注文はいつもの「辛味つけ麺あつもり920円」(追加:特盛150円、味玉野菜200円、辛味w0円、にんにくw0円)味の方は安定して今回は美味しくスープまで完飲。

ところで、YouTubeで「やすべえ」の動画は数多くあるが、その中でも馬場一店舗時代から食べ続けている玉島氏の語る動画(冒頭部分はご愛嬌)は、やすべえ愛を感じとても面白かったのでお勧めします。

高田馬場本店の味がやすべえのオリジナルスタンダードなのだが、玉島氏は各店舗を食べ歩いて店舗によって味にブレがあるという。原因は調理スタッフの腕前だけではなく人間性にまで着目している点が大変興味深かった。2年前の動画では、なんと馬場店より池袋東口店がNO1とのこと。 そう言われてみれば馬場本店で働く店員さんたちは、なんだか意気消沈気味が気になっていた。大声でいらっしゃいませ！ありがとうございました！とか味が美味しければ過剰な掛け声はいらないけれどね。

私学の雄が早稲田大学ならば、つけ麺屋の雄はやすべえ！本店NO1の味を守り続けるプレッシャーは半端ないと思いますけど応援していますよ！(株)サッポロ実業万歳🙌🏻

Staff don’t speak English but are very attentive and would subtly help, if needed.

the tsukemen is absolutely worth trying. The dipping soup is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, but what really stood out to me was the noodle itself. It’s got this amazing chewy texture and fresh taste that makes it one of the best tsukemen noodles I’ve had. You can tell a lot of care goes into the preparation.

Portions are generous, and surprisingly, the prices are quite affordable for the quality you get.

We tried the spicy soy sauce and the miso. If you get the small portion (what we got) you get to choose a free topping and the server will ask which one you want after you pay at the machine.

I thought the dipping sauce was tasty but didn’t think the noodles were anything special. Maybe I just prefer a chewier noodle? I also didn’t like that the noodles were wet (with water) which affected the taste.
