タイ屋台 999 新橋 — Restaurant in Tokyo

新橋駅から徒歩1〜2分という抜群の立地にある「タイ屋台 999 カオカオカオ」でランチを楽しんできました。平日のランチタイムでしたが、12時半頃に訪問すると、予想外に女性客が多く、オフィス街の中の異空間という印象を受けました。

店内に入るとカラフルな装飾とタイの音楽が流れていて、一気に東南アジアの雰囲気に引き込まれます。座席はタイの屋台をイメージした作りになっていて、異国情緒たっぷりです。

ランチメニューは1,000円でメインディッシュにミニセット、スープ、デザートまで付いていて、さらにお茶も飲み放題というコスパの良さに驚きました。私はカオマンガイを注文。ほどなくして運ばれてきた料理は見た目も美しく、香り立つスパイスの香りに食欲が刺激されました。

カオマンガイは鶏肉がしっとりとジューシーで、特製のタレとの相性が抜群。付け合わせのスープもさっぱりとしていて、暑い日のランチにぴったりでした。ご飯は程よい硬さで、タイ米特有の香りが楽しめます。デザートのタピオカココナッツミルクも甘さ控えめで美味しかったです。

スタッフの方も気さくで、タイ料理について質問したら丁寧に教えてくれました。タイ人スタッフもいるようで、本場の雰囲気がより一層感じられます。

駅近で、これだけ本格的なタイ料理が手頃な価格で楽しめるのは貴重です。女性一人でも入りやすい雰囲気なので、ランチブレイクに気分転換したい時にぴったりですね。新橋で本場のタイ料理が食べたくなったら、ぜひ訪れてみてください。

Review of Thai Food Stall 999 KAO KAO KAO Shinbashi Branch

I enjoyed lunch at "Thai Food Stall 999 KAO KAO KAO," conveniently located just 1-2 minutes on foot from Shinbashi Station. When I visited around 12:30 on a weekday, I was surprised to see many female customers rather than the businessmen I expected, giving it the feel of an exotic oasis in this business district.

Upon entering, the colorful decorations and Thai music immediately transported me to Southeast Asia. The seating is designed to resemble Thai food stalls, creating an authentically exotic atmosphere.

I was amazed at the value of the lunch menu - for just 1,000 yen, you get a main dish, mini side dishes, soup, dessert, and unlimited tea. I ordered the Khao Man Gai. The dish that arrived shortly looked beautiful, and the aromatic spices stimulated my appetite.

The Khao Man Gai featured juicy, tender chicken that paired perfectly with the special sauce. The accompanying soup was refreshing, making it ideal for a hot day's lunch. The rice had just the right firmness, with the distinctive fragrance of Thai rice. The tapioca coconut milk dessert was also delicious with just the right level of sweetness.

The staff were friendly and when I asked about Thai cuisine, they explained everything kindly. There seemed to be Thai staff as well, which added to the authentic atmosphere.

It's rare to find such authentic Thai cuisine at reasonable prices so close to the station. The atmosphere is welcoming even for solo female diners, making it perfect for a refreshing break during the workday. If you're craving authentic Thai food in Shinbashi, I definitely recommend a...

As a Thai, THIS IS NOT THAI FOOD!!! It’s just a restaurant with Thai street food decorations, serving fake Thai food.

Chicken Gapao (กะเพราไก่) : No taste at all Soft shell crab curry : too salty, not thai style curry Omelet: the only thing I could eat Grill pork (หมูปิ้ง) : dont call it “moo-ping” It’s definitely different and “Moo-Ping” in Thailand is way more delicious.

There’s no kitchen. I assumed that they just warmed the food back there.

Here’s good for drinking. I gave 1 star because I couldn’t give 0 and they had varieties of drinks, just like in Thailand.

Price is tooooo EXPENSIVE!! If you’d like to enjoy real Thai food, I’d suggest...

OWNER PLEASE READ THIS: Absolutely unacceptable experience. Not only was the food completely tasteless and bland, but when it came time to pay, I was handed a bill with 3 x bogus items with no description. When I questioned it, the person at the counter immediately removed three charges no apology, no explanation. It was clear they were trying to add more to the bill and take the cash, hoping I wouldn’t notice. It speaks volumes about the integrity of the management.
