Bargain Unagi rice This is should be a branch of the famous budgrt Unagi Rice in Ueno, which carry the same name. But it is odd to find they only officially mentioned a branch nearby which carry the name Second Generation Unatoto

Anyway, is budget amd nice. The menu is retain as per main Branch.

Cant really argue an unagi on this price. The area around is a bit...how to say, is where Japanese workers spend their after work night out. Is good to see...

Very delicious Unagi!!! Soft and tender with smokey taste. Price-wise? Very very reasonable, as of Dec 2024, price is still the same as found in Menu here.. Much more reasonable than the joint I found in Shinjuku or Ginza. Staffs are very nice and polite. Accomodate non-Japanese speaker well. Will definitely come back for more.

Place is like the usual Japanese bar (which I like, rather than very high-end premium feel). Clean...

We wanted to get relatively cheap, reasonable priced eel rice so we visited this place. We got the 1580(?) yen one, and the portions were very generous and the eel was pretty good. One thing we thought was kind of weird was that the restaurant literally had a pigeon come inside because the door was wide open. If you’re looking for cheap eel rice this is the place but don’t expect 100% cleanliness & good...
