Great atmosphere and very friendly service. The host said he would recommend dishes for us since we didn't know japanese. We told him we were vegetarian and he was able to accommodate us. We went at lunch and no reservation required... not sure you actually need one... The food was fantastic and the place was very lively. Our neighbor talked with us a bit in english and japanese. In the end we had an asahi beer, an appetizer of pickled radish, a plate of veg yaki soba and a plate of veg tempura split between us. Our total was 3450 yen in the end (our tempura came out to 1600¥). It was pricey but delicious, and there are other more affordable options for those without dietary constraints. Check it out!

平日の夕方7時に一人で訪問。前回、満席で座れず、今回、2回目。また、満席も2席だけ予約席の様子。ホールを取り仕切るおじちゃんが入り口の僕のところまで来て、「多分、なんとかなるから、座っちゃいなよ、大丈夫だよ、たぶん」と耳打ち。笑 「これは、いい店」だと、確信。 コの字のカウンターに座って鯵の刺身とコロッケを頼むと、気のきいた女性スタッフが、「一人でこれ頼むといっぱい来るから、鯵の刺身と○○の刺身と2種盛りにするから、好きな刺身を言って！。コロッケも二個だと飽きそうだから、牡蠣とか、串カツとか盛り合わせに変えるよ！」と言ってくださる！笑 スゲーサービスいいな、と感嘆。(他のお客さんにも、カスタマイズを推奨していて、スゲーなと感嘆) 店内を見回すと、近隣の常連8割り、なにか(Web？)を見て来た一見2割りの構成。ホールスタッフのおふたりはをはお客さんの注文を名前を言いながら「田中さんは串カツを牡蠣に変更ね」とか言いながらオーダーを通していて、ホントに地元密着の模様だな～と。 厨房は4名でうち、２名は超ベテランのお母様。出てくる料理は刺身の鮮度やフライの揚げ温度がホントに「きちん」としていて、提供された側が「きちんと食べないとバチが当たる」背筋が伸びる感じ。 刺身にたっぷり、生姜やネギも提供されるし、揚げ物の付け合わせにはキャベツの他に長芋も台座になっていて、細かく嬉しくなることがある。 ドリンクも常連の飲んでいたホッピーを頼んだところ、通常のお店では２杯分の焼酎の量が提供され、「氷とか、足らなかったら言ってね、好きなように飲んじゃってね」との声掛けをされました。感激！ 会計ともなれば、「あれ、まだ夜も長いのにもう少しゆっくりしてげばいいのに」と労いもあり、最後には一見でも「また、どうぞ宜しくお願いします！待ってますね」と奢った感じも全くない、昔気質な居酒屋さん。 限りなく満点💯なお店。１つだけお願いしたいのは、「メニューが選びづらい」こと。特にドリンクはなにがあるのか、いくらなのかが、わかりずらい。是非、一見さんのために改善してほしいなと。 席数はカウンター17席、4名ないしは6名で座るテーブル席が２つ。予約も受付している様子。 いいお店なので、いつもであれば、「人にお勧めできるお店」とコメントしてますが、このお店は、「自分だけの秘密にしておきたい内緒のいいお店」としたい、ワンランク上の最上位店舗。皆さん、このコメントを見ても行かないでね。笑

The dishes they serve are really delicious, reasonable and authentic. The shop is always packed with their frequent customers. If you really want to experience for traditional Japanese foods and its shop's ambiance, here is a right place for you. However, I'd recommend that you visit there with someone who is Japanese.

If you want to feel the REAL Japanese Izakaya, this is the must go place. There are 3 reasons you must go. First of all, all the foods and drinks are very reasonable price. Second of all, waiter/waitress, even the Japanese customers are very friendly. Third of all, foods are very flesh and the amount of the foods are pretty large compare to the price.
