Went here with my girlfriend tonight, as an "end of holiday special dine". The dinner, overall, was fantastic. Especially, even more than the quality of the food (wich was excellent), we both loved the courtesy and the kindness of the chef and of all of its staff, wich was at the same time professional and welcoming. The sake, suggested by the chef, was superb, and blended perfectly with his tasty cuisine. The staff spoke a fluent English, the dishes were explained one by one, and chef Shinohara loves to talk and learn about foreign language. We were three Italians and four Chinese costumers, and he spoke a little bit of both, expecially knowing the name of the fishes in many language, and trying to learn those he didn't know. He made all the people at the table feel like having a dinner with good old friends, and this is a really special talent that has to be enlightened. At the end of the dinner, he proposed some extras for those who were interested (I tryed belly tuna, it was obviously great, the Chinese costumers tried the mochi, and I have to say they looked really satisfied). Prices was absolutely correct for a high level course, I will say even cheap (still, in a high class ranking). Totally worth it. As many has said, a really great experience, as well as an excellent dinner. Would recommend. (We reserved a table with pocket concierge, the payment was anticipated, and the extras was charged after the dinner without any kind of trouble. Really helpful and comfortable for non-Japanese speakers.) Greetings...
Read moreDining at this exceptional restaurant with my family was an unforgettable experience.
The freshness of the raw and cooked fish dishes was unparalleled, leaving a lasting impression upon our taste buds.
Among the delectable offerings, a particularly noteworthy dish was the mini green onion preparation, a seasonal delicacy that tantalized our senses with its exquisite flavors.
Despite my personal preference for cooked fish, the restaurant staff went above and beyond to accommodate my family's desire for raw fish.
They thoughtfully arranged separate courses for us, ensuring that everyone's dietary needs were met. The service was both friendly and professional, with knowledgeable staff who attentively introduced us to the wine list based on our individual preferences and course pairing.
Furthermore, the restaurant offered a variety of daily specials(sea urchin), which they presented to us without any pressure to order.
This thoughtful touch demonstrated their commitment to providing a truly customized dining experience.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Tokyo!!
Its exceptional cuisine, impeccable service, and welcoming atmosphere will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression.

Read moreI had a wonderful experience at Akasaka Sushi Shino. I made am 8pm reservation for the sushi omamase experience. The base omamase was about 20 courses including 10 to 12 nigiri as well as sides, soup, dessert, and green tea. I also added a sake and at the end of my mains courses requested 2 additional nigiri that were special catches for that day.
The entire experience was fantastic. Shino and his assistant prepared Eveything right before my eyes and the hostess would come up with a tablet showing an image the specific fish that was included in the dish. The fish were all cut fresh from refrigerated slabs and the wasabi was grated in front of me. Everything was delicious and prepared with care.
Shino and the hostess were able to communicate with me in English well enough. I could tell Shinoa passion for his craft which he has been practicing for 10 to 15 years now with opening this establishment in 2022.
Everything was top notch. Price was higher than I've paid for any meal (¥20000 to ¥22000 base plus sake and 2 additional nigiri my single bill was ¥29000) but I consider the experience a once in a lifetime one that I will always remember for my last night visiting Japan from the US. Shino even made a special farewell for me...
