Special effects of the Harry Potter play were good, but the “subtitle device” is a very heavy phone that requires a 10,000¥ cash deposit. So anticipate holding an unusually heavy phone up in your hand for the entire 3.5hr performance with off timed subtitles. At least 4 others using the same device around me eventually fell asleep at different points of the play.
