Had a genuinely lovely stay there and also got to speak a lot of Japanese with friendly locals. Too bad trains dont run after Midnight! Would recommend coming in with some understanding of Japanese if you want an even lovelier time! Everyone is very open and helps with speaking. The drinks are amazing for their price.

Very cool bar that I have gone to twice now. It is my new go to place when I want a drink near my home in Shimo. I met 2 bartenders and they are both incredibly nice and both recommended me great drinks. Price is very reasonable and the drinks are strong. Music was great both times.

If you want a small and cozy vibe and be surrounded by friendly people I highly recommend. An American guy went in on his own while we were there and just started chatting with other patrons so you can come here to make friends. (the other patrons do not tend to speak...

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. We went here twice during our trip and they’ve been some of our favorite evenings in Japan. Okkun is the friendliest person we’ve met in Japan, he makes you feel welcome and will have a nice chat with you. Besides that the music is great and the crowd is really chill.

Okkun thank you so much for some great evenings. When we’re back in Tokyo, visiting bar Ghetto will be on top of our list....

Hands down, the best dive bar in ShimoKita. The bartenders and proprietor are part of the original bohemian culture that made the neighborhood stand apart from the commercial fluff elsewhere. The place is narrow, and you WILL be socializing with everyone else inside, so it's not a place for introverts! Bar is fully stocked with all kinds of spirits, and they will mix whatever...
