BLUE TABLE — Restaurant in Tokyo

A fantastic view of Tokyo Bay and Yokohama Port, which was definitely a highlight. However, I had trouble understanding the overall concept of the dishes. For instance, the Italian-style rice was strangely soggy, and I’m not sure if the chef truly believes duck pairs well with orange in this particular preparation. The ajillo was overly salty, yet they only provided two small slices of bread—which certainly wasn’t enough. Considering the price, the portions felt inadequate.

Although the servers seemed polite, they weren’t very attentive. At first, they didn’t even offer water, and when I was leaving with a stroller, nobody came over to help hold the door. All in all, it was a rather disappointing...

コロナ前から何度も行ってましたが、コロナとオリンピックで休業されていて、復活を期待していました。日曜日12時に大人1人と小型ワンコをカートに乗せて伺いました。事前にネットで予約した時は、カウンターと表示されていましたが、窓際の広いテーブルをわざわざリザーブして頂いていて、凄く嬉しかったです。 またカトラリーBoxには、私の苗字と「ようこそお越しくださいました」と手書きで英語表記されたリザーブカードが添えられていて、超感動しました！ 頂いたのは、ポークジンジャーソテーとデザートにガトーショコラ、そしてアイスティー。ランチは、サラダとミニデザートも付いています。 お料理は、ご飯が少し柔らかめでしたが、分厚いお肉が２枚も乗っていて、まるでステーキのようでした。カットもしやすくて美味しかったです。 ガトーショコラは、濃厚でカットバナナが添えられていて、お腹いっぱいになります。 ワンコには、お水のサービスをして頂いたり、お店で手作りした鶏肉のオヤツを頂いたり、ホントワンコファーストでむちゃくちゃ有り難かったです。なんと言っても、この景色を目にしてお料理を頂けるのが有難い！ ホールスタッフの若い男性は、まだまだ不慣れな感じでしたが、凄く熱心さが伝わってきて、好感がもてました。もうお一人、ベテランのシェフぽいスタッフの方も親切で、久しぶりのブルーテーブルでのランチタイムは、至福の時で...
