A British style pub in Ebisu, Tokyo indeed. I thought I was back in London when stepped inside. Been here for the North London Derby. I wanted to find a nice bar to watch the match so googled it, this's the first recommendation pop up. Very close to Ebisu station with many lines connected to other places in the cities. About 5 mins walk from the station to the THE FooTNiK. It's not difficult to fins it that night because there're tons of people outside of the place. Super crowded inside but the atmosphere was great. I ordered a draft Kirin beer but didn't have any food so can't say anything about that, I've heard that they have very nice fish & chips though. Someone told me that it's not usually this crowded so it's very possible a cozy place when you visit here the other time. People were passionate but friendly. There're many TV screens in every corner and the prices for beers are reasonable. Unfortunately, Spurs lost but the overall experience was great. Met couple of other Spurs fans as well surprisingly since the place was dominated by gunners. A nice place to watch Premier League matches in Tokyo....
Read moreVery disappointed by their lack of organization and respect for the latest final of the UEFA champions league. They made us queue for 1h15 to tell us at the very last minute right in front of the entrance that they were full and would not be able to let us in. It was 4AM and the game I woke up at to 2AM and rode my biccyle in the middle of the night for was about to start!!! (Very luckily the kickoff was postponed due to unfortunate events in Paris). Anyway, they had prepared drink tickets so they could have anticipated the number of people they could accommodate and also they should have let us know 15min in advance or so the remaining number of tickets... Just no respect for their clients and poor customer service.
I'm going to Hub or Once at Nakameguro...
