This is my experience from a a couple of years ago so things might have changed, but there's a reason I didn't go back. As it says on the door, no baby cars or PCs are allowed. But it doesn't say anything about babies, so I guess screaming babies are okay but typing on a PC is not? I was also told that "studying" is not okay, but what if I'm reading a book? Also reading a newspaper is ok, what if I'm studying language by reading a newspaper? How can you tell if I'm studying or not? What about writing in my journal? Are you going to come and check what I'm writing to see if it's study materials? Rules are arbitrary and if they want to keep the silence or have people not stay long there's other ways. It's a place for quiet reading, conversation, or solitude. My only concern is that the staff is limited. During my last two visits, I didn't see anyone cleaning or sanitizing the tables after a customer left, which is standard practice at most chain-type coffee shops, such as Tully's or Starbucks. That's my only...
