Cafe salon & Bar Arg — Restaurant in Tokyo

Not very good for cigar aficionados. Completely different kinds of cigars were kept together all mixed in one small humidor without partitions. Partagas and Cohiba in the same small humidor without even separated? That's gonna ruin them for sure. Cigars were somewhat dry and hard, and scent was mixed, mostly gone or insubstantial. The humidor was a cheap one, not made out of Spanish cedar. And worst of all, the guy who runs the place did not seem to realise that he needed to do something about it. I wouldn't waste my money on ruined cigars like that. "Avoid" is my suggestion if you are particular about your cigars. In Japan, cigar smoking seems to be not common at all, so it is understandable that the standard would be low, but still this was too bad. In Tokyo, international places like Hotel bars are the safe bet, Davidoffs are good, too. Good thing is tobacco prices are regulated in Japan, so the prices are always the same...

Very lovely cafe and beautiful interior. I went on a Friday with a friend, around 3PM. We did not have to wait, got seated at the bar right away. We originally planned to go to a cafe to study but this is not that kind of cafe, but nonetheless we enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and attentive. They offer sets here as well so I got a tea + cake set. The tea was nice, but nothing special and the cake was delicious! I noticed there were many elderly customers, and it was a bit of a quiet atmosphere.
