What a find! This place is a true hidden gem and absolutely worth the wait.

Pros: ✅ Incredible food—every bite was out of this world ✅ Great prices for the quality ✅ Awesome vibe with an authentic, bustling atmosphere

We stumbled upon this place by chance, and it ended up being the best meal of our trip. We ordered the gyozas, fried rice, and ramen—each dish was simply to die for.

The experience itself was just as memorable. You line up on a narrow staircase leading down to a basement, neon signs glowing above you. Once inside, you order via a vending machine (a really cool touch!), hand your tickets to the staff, and grab a seat at one of the few tables while the chefs cook up a storm.

The food was phenomenal, and we’ll definitely be coming back before we leave. If you’re in Tokyo, this spot is a must-visit—100%...

A truly delicious dinner, with extremely large hearty portions at a quite cheap price in what feels like a truly authentic Japanese small restaurant? What more can someone hope for?

Oreryu is located in a basement.

You wouldn't notice it easily unless you are looking for it. Do yourself a favor and do so!

We had 2 types of Gyoza and rice + omelette.

The Gyoza were tasty, in particular the ones recommended by the owner.

The rice was A LOT and extremely tasty, with pepper and what felt like Larson. Together with eggs cooked to perfection so that they stayed a bit creamy it felt like eating carbonara rice.

I sadly caught a cold that day so my sense of taste with diminished and yet the taste of the food could reach me.

The owner was very kind and helpful.

Equip yourself to be able to pay by cash at a...

Let's normalize falling in love with places and food!!! This little spot, not easy to find nor big enough for 3 groups of people, changed my perception about what eating out should be like. We went in, ordered via the vending machine and got help from the man in charge in very amusing Spanish ☺️ less than 5 minutes later, our freshly cooked gyozas and ramen were in the food. Not pretentious but extremely delicious!!!!! We got bibs to protect our clothes and all 😋 The entire experience was fun, the flavours were explosive and the attention was warm and caring. My favorite...
