I never written any reviews on google but I feel like there’s a need to write one for this particular restaurant.
I visited this restaurant yesterday with a couple of friends, and it was one of the most unsatisfying experiences I've had in Japan.
Here's why:
The attitude of the staff is questionable. Me and the girls were all dressed nicely specially for this cafe because we wanted to take some pictures. The male manage kept pressuring us to pay the bill and leave, as if that he didn't want us there, we were all feeling really stressed about it.
The food choices were limited Most things on the mane are just salads with some chips (not fries), and they were extremely overpriced. Also they insisted us to order a plate and a drink per person, even though we knew the food sizes were too large for our small appetites, we had to follow their policies because we don’t wanna get kicked out, ended up wasting a lot of food there.
Booking was overly complicated. Without a credit card, it's impossible to make a reservation with them. I tried to book on 食べログ but there was no access with their restaurant.(very strange cuz you can find almost every single restaurants in Japan on that app, even the niche and unpopular ones) Also there's no contact information provided for the restaurant, no email no telephone, so there’s no way you can book with them by any other ways.
Overpriced I get it, it’s super cool cafe with fantastic concept and interior design, but with an entry fee of ¥3000 per person(The salads and floats were around this price too) we get side eyes from managers for just wanting to take some pictures. (We asked if we can take pictures and they said yes, but at the same time they act like we were really bothering…??)The experience did not match the cost. Not to mention that my girlfriend had diarrhoea after eating there despite that being the only meal she had on that day. So be careful when you choose to eat there.
Overall, this experience was not worth the price. I’ve visited many theme cafes in Tokyo, this was the most expensive and unsatisfied one I've encountered. I do not recommend it and will not visit...
Read moreWow! We took our 14 year old daughter here and it was amazing and well worth the 30 minute train ride from our hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful and even had a handheld English translator when we conversed. The atmosphere and decor was jaw dropping and better then any other small or corporate themed cafe we've ever been too. The food was fresh & beautifully presented but also tasted really good with plenty to fill you up.
If you or a member of your family like witches, wizards, steam punk or a slightly dark Alice in Wonderland vibe then you should go. The price was extremely reasonable for the whole experience and would of easily cost double what we paid back in the UK. Go, Go, Go.
Because you...
Read moreAtmosphere was amazing! I would recommend going if you can speak/understand N4+ Japanese, if with someone who can understand japanese, because you will have a more enjoyable time. The food looked beautiful! Me and my friend just looked at it for like 10 mins because it looked so pretty lol. It also tasted pretty good. They also game me and my friend a free small (shot sized) drink, for Christmas. You are allowed to walk around upstairs if theres no vip. The vibes are absolutely everything! Perfect date place, or fun experience for besties. For the price it's actually totally...
