Okura — Local services in Tokyo

I love indigo clothing and generally outerwear is worth investing in. Bought two Blue Blue Japan jackets that should last and fade and evolve with me a long time. Prices are very favorable, high but why keep buying and wearing what you don't like? Add it up and you'll see what could be. Still beats prices online outside of Japan if found.

Upstairs is a vintage shop if I recall correctly. Downstairs some eatery. The related sister store Hollywood Ranch Market is nearby on the main road. I believe Okura mostly stocks Blue Blue Japan, some other Seilin products and select brands. Check out their Instagram.

Chanced upon the shop and fell deep in love with their indigo collection. It was perfect for fall and winter, without looking drappy. The full Made-In-Japan denim and indigo fabrics are so impressive, that you can feel the pride in each piece. I'm so glad to leave with one of their quilted jackets and my husband with his many handkerchiefs.

To top it off, their helpfulness and friendliness was fantastic. I'll definitely see the shop and it's crew again...
