Came into the restaurant before 2 pm because outside the menu said the last order was 2pm. When i entered, an old man at the cashier asked if i had made a reservation which I didnt as it was a Monday. He then told me to wait a little as if to allow me in, only to say a few mins later it is closed. What? My question is 1) why mislead customers by marking LO 2pm on the menu outside 2) why mislead again by asking to wait only to say you’re closed? 3) i know little Japanese but it was hard to communicate as the worker didnt know any English even though it is a European restaurant and daikanyama is full...

I had the duck and it was extremely delicious. But I think what sets this place apart is the atmosphere - the old-school dining room, very attentive service and lovely music makes this place lovely and atmospheric.
