However, my experience at your Chibo Yurakucho Bic Camera branch last night (August 23rd) was a complete and utter contradiction to this very principle. While waiting for a table, the staff member at the front desk spoke in a blunt, commanding tone, barking out simple English like "Waiting, no..." without any hint of courtesy. After being seated, when we simply asked for an extra cup in Japanese, a female staff member rolled her eyes at us with an unbelievably disdainful and impatient look on her face. Having lived in Japan for many years, I have never encountered such terrible and disrespectful service. Is this truly the corporate philosophy you are so proud of? On a final note, I would like to express my gratitude to the male staff member who thoughtfully added the mayonnaise to our dishes. His service was much appreciated.
