THE STAND — Restaurant in Tokyo

Around 9:30 pm, we went to The Stand to buy six caneles. The pastries were great, however the customer service was lacking. The employee who took our order appeared irritated, perhaps because we interrupted him while he was speaking to a coworker.

When we ordered, he just said, “It’s 1,944 yen,” with an attitude - no greeting or acknowledgment. After we agreed, he followed up with, “So how will you pay?” in the same dismissive tone. We didn’t think much of it at first but when we handed over the cash, instead of offering a tray, he said, “You want me to pick it myself?” with clear irritation and unprofessionalism.

We grabbed our items and left without a word, which we later felt sorry about, but honestly, the interaction made us uncomfortable. Good food should be paired with good service, and unfortunately, this experience was soured by the behavior of the staff. A little courtesy...

Have been past here many times, so on my recent trip to bic camera decided to try the Canelé. Each Canelé is 280 yen - comes in a cute little bag. When I came around 230pm on a rainy Sunday they only had a few left. After we bought a line formed. It was very crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the in. Overall it's a decent Canelé but just slightly over priced. It's worth trying if...

昼間のカヌレプレートが気になってたこちら！ カヌレ自体はコリドーのカヌレだしね、 味知ってるからさ、なんかタイミング逃してたんだけど、 夜はバー営業で、ミュージックバー？！ らしい。 ちょうどお酒も飲みたい気分だし、 カヌレも食べられるみたいだからGO！

店頭にカヌレの在庫がいっぱいあるのを 確認した上で（笑） まずはアルコールから〜♪

寒くてさ、ハイボールちびちび。 パテドカンパーニュも追加しよう。

かわい〜ビジュアル！ おお、うまい！ パテカンんまぁ。すきだなぁ、これ。 なんか、かなりお上品サイズだから 割高、、、な気もするけど、 バーチャージないから、まぁいいか。

さてさて、身体も冷えてきたところで カヌレ行きますかっ！
