I’ve been meaning to try to ramen shop.
I noticed they had rich niboshi Tsukemen and wanted to try it. The broth was very rich and thick, I liked this. Although, the flavor was so-so. The noodles had good texture and flavor. But, the chashu was a bit bland.

Read moreStumbled upon this amazing shop walking down the street. Very low-key and welcoming. The food was spectacular, as was the service. Kai, the one-man-show server/chef was an absolute gem. He made excellent recommendations and was happy to answer a few questions. Kai’s English was great and we even chatted for a bit about our plans for the week.

I tried to choose the chuuka soba with the ago dashi (sardine broth) but maybe because I can’t read kanji well, I ended up ordering the wrong thing. The chef was nice enough to help me order what I wanted and they weren’t busy so that was helpful.
