CONA — Restaurant in Tokyo

As an Italian Tourist, the Pizza wasn’t that great, very small and bland, and even though it says every pizza is 500 yen, you have to pay for a drink per person and pay for the appetiser so if you get three pizzas and a drink your bill will come to at least 3000 yen including service charge. We also paid for our appetiser despite not ordering it, but since the waitress brought it to us, we assumed it was free and came with the pizza. When we asked to take it off the bill, we were laughed at and were told that’s what happens in Japan. For mediocre pizza and terrible service even if it’s 500 yen it’s not worth the price. Not exactly Italian style, but for 500¥ a pizza it is amazing. Probably the best french fries I have had on earth, crispy, buttery and the potato taste still shone through. The chicken wings were so well seasoned I wanted to order more. If you need a break from delicious ‘Japanese’ style food on your trip, this is a great place. I certainly have too many wonderful memories in this CONA to be objective with their food. But honestly, their 500 yen pizzas are good (although not that big for a european stomach), especially if you add cheese toppings eheh ! Unless other CONA, there is no table charges, and the waiters are friendly (except one lady but... who cares !). I miss this place and this...
