The people here are incredibly nice. The first time I came I came with friends and we got various items and had fun together. This time I came alone and they were very kind and nurturing. I felt appreciated as a customer by their friendly way of being. They even gave me a piece of egg cake which is a gift that people share on New Year's in Japan in this area. I had various delicious dishes that are pretty rare here because they're from okinawa. The menu in Japanese is not even something that Japanese people can read, so I recommend that Japanese people read the English menu, because it's pretty explanatory. There so many things on the menu that I think I have to come here at least three times in order to get a general idea of what they offer. It's huge! The decorations are really interesting, they have a variety of memorabilia, pictures, art, and other things that will keep you entertained even if you're alone. Overall, the restaurant is pretty perfect. The ambience, the food, and the people are very warm. It is a good place.

The Okinawan style Soki Soba ! The soup was tasty and had the little hint of the awamori (Okinawan alcohol beverage). The shoyu marinated pork trotters were super tender ! If you are adventurous enough and can handle unusual things, you might be interested trying the sea grapes or the 海ぶどう, a species of algae that you can dip in the shoyu like condiment for the flavor burst.

A chance to taste a very different type of Japanese food in a boisterous Izichiya. I think we, as non-Japanese, were a bit of novelty, but the service was good, the food original and tasty, and the drinks strong and enjoyable. As a vegetarian it’s not ideal but we got an order together that was both tasty and suited a meat eater and a veggie. English menu too.

東京にある本格的な沖縄料理店で、本格的で美味しい料理が楽しめました。店内には琉球の雰囲気が漂い、店員さんも沖縄出身が多く、雰囲気が良かったです。豚の角煮(ラフテー)、島豆腐、サーターアンダギーはどれも素晴らしく、とても美味しかったです。We enjoyed authentic and delicious Okinawan cuisine at a restaurant in Tokyo. The restaurant had a Ryukyuan atmosphere, and many of the staff were from Okinawa, creating a pleasant ambiance. The braised pork (Rafute), island tofu, and Sata Andagi were all superb and very tasty.

Great Okinawan restaurant. I tried a bunch of their dishes, like ゴーヤーチャンプルー (gōyā chanpurū), a stir-fry dish with bitter melon and other vegetables; 島豆腐サラダ (shima tofu salad); ジーマミー豆腐 (jīmamī tofu), this one particularly good, with peanut sauce… The place has a lively atmosphere, full of decoration and items from Okinawa. Waiters are friendly and funny. English menu with photos available.

夜7時頃にお伺いしました。 外で入ろうか迷っていると、外でタバコを吸った店員さんが、タバコを吸ったままいらっしゃいませと接客をしてきました。 接客業として普通にありえないと入口から思いましたが、とりあえず中に入りました。 ドリンクや料理を持ってきてもなんにも説明はないし、無言で空いた皿やグラスを下げていきます。 マスクをあごにつけて営業している方もホールとキッチンで1名ずついました。 マスクをする意味があるのかな?と疑問に思います。 ホールスタッフも、暇になるとすぐに遊びだしていてこのお店のプロ意識の低さにびっくりしました。 料理も特別美味しいと思うものもありませんでした。 最後お店を出る時も外でタバコを吸ってる店員さんにお見送りしてもらい、最後の最後まで残念な気持ちになりました。 もう二度と再訪はないと思います。
