Detroit Meat Choppers is a great little burger joint and dive bar. The burgers are handmade and are juicy and delicious. Zack, the owner, hand cooks them on a little grill and the smell will have your mouth watering. The burgers come with grilled onions as well as a side of hand cut fried potatoes. My daughter and I got the double burger and it was plenty filling. This low key hole in the wall has so much personality; alcohol bottles tucked into all the corners, Detroit city and music posters cover the walls, and little collectibles cover all the edges. The bartender/cook is a cheerful fella who speaks English. The burger is solid and meaty, though it needed to better seasoned. As an added plus, they serve craft beer!! Hamburger is amazing. What I like about this restaurant is the simple menu. You don’t need to think too much before ordering. Because basically if you came here for burger, then choose single, double or triple burger first. Then choose toppings. The owner is friendly in an interesting way.
