Man I totally lost track of time in this place. I wanted to see the group food-themed show, especially Sakie's artwork, so one night I put on some classical music in my headphones and jazz-danced my way here from Komazawa-daigaku station.
It was a cool night and a pretty easy walk, but I wouldn't recommend hoofing it in the summer. The area feels like a little neighborhood back around here and I took a few pictures of vending machines.
Anyway, this shop is amazing. There's a gazillion zines on the wall, and other assorted artworks, so you can spend 1-7 hours here leafing through these and picking your favorites. And the thing is, all of them are switched out every few months for an entirely new fleet of zines, so you'll have to come back again and again and again and again.
The staff was thoughtful too and offered to hold my postcards and stuff while I leafed through things. She even mentioned in the politest way possible that they were in fact closed 10-15 minutes after the fact and I had simply failed to notice; so consumed was I by ZINES.
