I’ve walked by this place a million times to and from getting groceries, and I finally decided I’d check it out.

I’m glad I did! Excellent food and an excellent selection of alcohol, serving up rare whiskeys and various gin from around the country. I had the lemon gin with tonic, easily my new favorite drink.

For food they serve Nagasaki local dishes. I had the Chanpon, and it was fantastic. Great for a winters day.

Only found the "dinning bar call” by accident as it looks to be a part of the restaurant next door. It's a small bar and tables were fine for lunch. We were welcomed and helped with our selections. The bar has an extensive range including some great sake. We liked it so much we went back for dinner the next night. There is an English menu which helps. Small, quaint spot with a bartender slinging excellent drinks and recommendations. We had the beef garlic rice and dumplings which were excellent. However, the star of the show was the stir fried udon noodles and the Nagasaki Champon, which are similar in delicious taste, but the Champon has broth. You can’t got wrong with either.
