I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dona restaurant for a friend’s birthday, and it turned out to be a lovely experience overall. The restaurant has a spacious layout that comfortably accommodated our group of eight, which was great. However, I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time or planning to visit after 2 PM. This way, you can avoid any potential wait times, as the place tends to get busy.
The menu at Dona is quite impressive, offering a range of options that cater to various tastes. I decided to try the pasta, and I must say, it was delicious! The flavors were rich, and the dish was perfectly cooked, making it a standout choice for anyone who loves Italian cuisine. Unfortunately, the steak didn’t quite match the same level of excellence. Read moreWe went to Dona last night at around 19:30 11th May, the female server who was folding red napkins near the door was unfriendly, when I stepped into the restaurant holding the ticket trying to explain I've made a mistake specifying 2 children. The server rudely pushed me out and told me to sit down. The ticket machine outside the restaurant had no English option and the first question was asking how many children, that I mistakenly thought it was asking for how many people. We've been to Tokyo many times and this was the first time we encountered a rude server. The pasta dishes were average but the lamb chops were cooked to perfection. The server gave us the impression she didn't have time for foreigners, during the meal we saw her laughing with another female server while looking at our table, that was really rude and we won't be going back to this...

There were many polite ways to express the rule and we would accept it. We just did as the first waitress said, but the second waitress acted like we were really rude....
