To my surprise, this is probably one of the best hotel i ever stayed and that’s meant a lot because I’ve been traveling a lot (and usually my favorite hotel in Japan is Hyatt Regency Shinjuku however they were having renovations with a lot of criticism). I’ve met 3 outstanding employees : Q Li, Nishida (made us a member of your hotel) and the other one I forgot regretfully. The room was a bit small (standard Japan) but everything inside the room have been thoroughly thought through. When you entered the room on your right there’s a minimalist cupboard with only hangers and no doors (typical Japan) very efficient however at the bottom of the cupboard there are : mini lantern, a very pretty clothes iron (looks like miniature small hand carry plastic luggage) complete with ironing board of course, 2 sets of pajamas with slippers, a multi purpose sanitizer and safety deposit box. So the “open design” cupboard with no frame made you easily see inside all that and the ability to use it swiftly. On the left there are 2 controls board : 1. For the AC & Heater. 2. For Japanese special electric toilet 🚽 and card key slot. One of the advantages in Japan is their ultra modern electronic toilet that can do your ass (sorry) self cleaning and drying, play music 🎶, massaging your ass with vibrating water, sterilization and automatic flushing and closing. Small bathtub 🛀 also provided which I found perfect for my size and the wastafel was perfect with big mirror and bright lights complete with all the amenities you need: toothbrush, mouthwash, a variety of face wash liquids, razors etc. The bed itself was perfection (however i don’t like the pillows because small and stiff, i prefer big and fluffy pillows) complete with nearby electrical outlets and complete light buttons (controlled all the lights). My window view also less ideal because it faces other building windows. The TV can be connected to your smartphone since the Japanese TV program a bit confusing to us as a foreigners. There are small 1 person sofa and a chair and a long table below the TV for small working space. In a drawer you can find many cables etc if your electrical plug different than Japan. Las but not least of course there’s refrigerator and complete equipment for tea and coffee. As you may read in others reviews, this hotel location is extremely prime with a number of major shopping mall in Ginza within reach. Mitsukoshi and Ginza 6 within walking distance and famous brands such as Hermes, Prada, Zara, UniQlo and Tokyu Hands also within walking reach. I’m so happy with this hotel i will comeback ! It’s the best feeling in the world 🌎 when you find something new and turn out to...

I stayed from 22 to 28 Nov 2023.||The best thing about this hotel is how close you are to a train station; Higashi-ginza on the Hibiya line.||Not only that, it's also the ease of getting to and from that station. I just checked on Google maps: it's only 25 metres from the lift door to the hotel's front door!||As travellers, we have luggage and stairs are our worst enemy. But in Tokyo, train stations are full of stairs! It's even worse when you're going home with shopping or if you're not young anymore.||As for the room, it was clean. And it was spacious for Tokyo standards. Granted, I was alone but a couple should have no problems. Only one sink though so you gotta share but the counter is big.||Water pressure was good and the washlet is separated from the shower area. To be honest, I was at times a little creeped out.||This is because the washlet automatically opens as you're near and closes when you're not. So sometimes, I kept thinking someone was my door but it's just the washlet.
|Wifi was fast and stable. There were three lifts so I never had to wait too long.||The staff were always helpful and approachable. All spoke good English. Some could also speak Mandarin (three languages). Even though they always worked fast, they never seemed to pass on this "stressed" vibe to the customer.||I can't comment on the in-house breakfast as I didn't eat there. However, there are three, yes 3, convience stores within walking distance. My favourite was the 7 11 at 150 metres away. There's also FamilyMart and Lawson if you prefer those.
|One downside, was the view. The view was terrible. I could see into the next building so I'm pretty they could see into my room too. So I had my blinds down almost all the time.||That said, personally, I don't stay in the room most of the time. I'm out exploring, shopping etc so if that means a cheaper room, why not?||I didn't notice any laundromats in the area so I used the in-house cleaning service which wasn't cheap.||However, as one other customer mentioned, unless you're planning on doing luxury shopping, there might be better places to stay.||Would I stay here again? It's in my...

Pros:excellent location in Ginza , opposite Mitsukoshi department store, right next to train station & lots of taxis available in front of hotel. Very good value for money for hotel in this location . Room is clean & so is toilet . As mentioned by other travellers, rooms are a tad small , but this is normal for Japan. Front desk staff are helpful & friendly .They generally speak and understand English quite well. Cons: there doesnt appear to be a porter so you may have to bring your own luaggage in. May be a problem for the elderlh . No body lotion is provided , so do bring your own if required. Hotel cafe doesn"t serve dinner or room service . I don"t see this as a major problem as restaurants are nearby / you can just buy takeaway from Mitsukoshi department food hall opposite.Breakfast is basic , but not all that great . There is no toaster to toast cold bread .Decent coffee yoghurt and salad spread. But little fruit variety .Also, I had the misfortune to meet an Asian Indian looking waiter called Khem( spelling is wrong but his name is pronounced Kim) who , when we asked him to toast cold bread hot , put it in the microwave instead of the toaster . The bread became too soft and was not good to eat. The next day, he told me I could not have egg white tomato omelette despite the fact that I saw a sign saying that tomato omelettes were available. I heard him tell a guest he could not be served when he came in at about 9.55 am despite the fact that breakfast is until 10am . I do not know if his comprehension of the english language is poor , but he gave me a negative impression . His colleague whose name is Wang is much better in atitude and service. Other than that , no problems...

🔒Tokyo · Ginza Food Secrets🔒 This post has got you covered 🍣 Eating at local-recommended spots is the right way to experience authentic cuisine in a foreign land~ Figure 2 shows the distribution map of these restaurants in Ginza, making it super convenient for a foodie tour~ 🌟🌟Zakuro (Figure 3) This place offers a traditional Japanese copper pot hot pot experience, with a nostalgic Showa era vibe. They have a variety of wagyu, and the steak literally melts in your mouth. The A5 beef has beautiful marbling, rich yet not greasy. The kimono-clad staff will help you cook each slice and serve it to your bowl, very thoughtful. Even the locals are raving about it. 📍Chuo-ku, Ginza 4-6-1 🌟🌟Fukuji (Figure 4) When in Japan, you must try fugu 🐡 This is a hidden gem among locals. They use wild fugu from the Bungo Channel, and the fugu jelly is Q-弹, the hot pot is tender, and the sashimi exudes the natural sweetness of the ingredient. One set course lets you taste multiple ways of enjoying fugu. Japanese cuisine is so distinctive because they focus on perfecting each ingredient! 📍Chuo-ku, Ginza 5-11-13, Koda Building 3F 🌟🌟Ginza Ukai-tei (Figure 5) Arguably the best teppanyaki in Japan. Make sure to sit in the main hall to watch the chefs in action, experiencing the true art of their cooking. The A5 beef cooked medium-rare is incredibly tender and juicy, melting in your mouth. The lobster soup is so fresh it could make your eyebrows fall off. Truffles are famous here, but they are seasonal, so check the timing. 📍Chuo-ku, Ginza 5-15-8, Jiji Tsushin Building 1F 🌟🌟Esquisse (Figure 6) Many may not know, but French cuisine is also highly renowned and quality in Japan. This place combines French techniques with seasonal Japanese ingredients, with each dish looking like a piece of art. The ambiance is quiet, frequented by well-dressed young Japanese. Reminds me of the scene in the Japanese drama "逃げるは恥だが役に立つ" where Aragaki Yui and Hoshino Gen enjoy a French meal, haha. 📍Chuo-ku, Ginza 5-4-6, 9th floor 🌟🌟Yakiniku Usigoro (Ginza Store) (Figure 7) A wagyu-focused yakiniku restaurant, with each cut of meat being exceptionally fine and high-quality. The portions are just right, any more and it might get overwhelming, but the melt-in-your-mouth experience is addictive. The staff will grill each slice and serve it to your plate, explaining each cut, making for a very hassle-free experience. The place is still bustling until 9:30 PM. 📍Chuo-ku, Ginza 1-6-6 🌟🌟Sukiyabashi Jiro (Figure 8) This is the restaurant of Japan's "Sushi God," Jiro Ono, capping off our list! A must-visit for locals. The timing of placing sushi in your mouth is precise to the second, including temperature control for different types of sushi. The skills honed over 60 years by the master are simply awe-inspiring. Only by eating at a local-recommended sushi place can you experience this level of craftsmanship. You can ask for a photo with the master after your meal. Make sure to check if you can get a reservation! 📍Chuo-ku, Ginza 4-2-15, Tsukamoto Building B1 This time, I've recommended 6 out of 12 Ginza food spots. Stay tuned for the next installment. Remember to make reservations! 💌Dianping Overseas has a special section for local-recommended restaurants~ #Tokyo #Ginza #Japan #JapanTravel #WhatToBuyInJapan #FoodieOnTheGo #IAmAChef #MySecretFoodSpots #MyFoodDiary #RecommendedJapaneseDramas #LocalsRecommend #Foodie #Foodie #MyFoodDiary #RecommendedJapaneseDramas #LocalsRecommend @Foodie
