5/20/24Came in late for dinner and was told we had 30min to order, which is fine because we looking at the menu before walking in. My Japanese is bad so they may have said it to me but they have a 1 entree and 1 drink minimum. Apparently one of the waitress told my wife we needed to order drinks even though we ordered 3 entree and two app for two of us. After telling us we needed to order drinks they never came back to take our order for drinks. The food was good, my wife was craving some fries which were dry and bit over fried. Pizza was good/ok. The chicken pasta and steak were really good. The wait staff seemed busy with preparing for the next day verses ever checking on us. I know they don’t tip in Japan but every other restaurant we received excellent services this was the only restaurant in our entire two week trip where it was poor except the male waiter who initially took our order. He was nice and was working with my poor Japanese. Waiting trying to get attention of the staff, while sitting at the front door of the restaurant, I finally had to walk up to the waitress to ask her to check us out and ask for a box for our leftovers. The waiting wasn't long, but not making a reservation in advance left us to sit in the patio, which was perfectly nice as the weather was warm enough and no bugs nor mosquitoes around.
The food was good. Kale salad with a good dressing was refreshing, the cheese pizza was meltingly scrumptious, and the shrimp/brocolli ajillo went well with sliced baguette. If only they could be a bit more generous on the baguette.
Price wise, for dinner, about 3,000 yen per person, including a drink, was not too bad.
N.B. as all the shops and restaurants at Green Springs have no washrooms of their own, each floor has a public washroom, which is kept...

Eating in at dinner: A seating charge and rule of buying a drink per person was enforced (I totally understand having one of these, but doing both seems like price gauging?)
Take out: We got take out and ate outside in green springs, but then they wouldn’t accept the boxes afterwards.
If the service improved I would consider...
