It wasn't busy at all on a Sunday at around 4pm. On entering you'll be directed to your seat, and served a glass of water. Buy a meal ticket first from the machine, which is cashless, before handing it to a server. One ramen, a bowl of rice with an additional serving of nori seaweed came to around 2000yen, which is expensive. Servings are pretty standard, but the ingredients are high quality. However, I found the vegan ramen that I ordered, a little disappointing. The broth was bland for a ramen broth, and I could hardly taste the dried tomatoes that generously topped it. The veggies were good, but the noodles didn't have much of a bite to them, nor much flavor because of the broth. We came for lunch on a weekend when it was crazy busy. Had to queue outside for a bit but I guess most people eat fast enough since we didn't have to wait too long. All seats are bar seats, and you actually order at a touch screen machine in the corner.

It took maybe 10 minutes to get our order, which was longer than I'd expect for ramen (or tsukemen for me) but it was a full house so maybe it's usually much faster.

This was my first time et the Tachikawa location. I remember really enjoying it at the Harajuku location a few years ago.

The store was very clean, well illuminated, with an open kitchen and counter seating.

The ramen itself was quite disappointing. The ramen was way too salty and oily. The portion size for the noodles was also insufficient. I took only a few bites and I was finished already! But by that time I had completely lost my appetite and rushed out to find a sweet dessert to rinse...
