This place is a hidden gem. The staff were very friendly and spoke great English, in case you are a tourist who doesn’t speak Japanese. There is a separate vegetarian menu that indicates which items contain eggs in case you are vegan. I also saw a lot of Muslim tourists as it is halal friendly. I had the vegetarian (presumably vegan) green curry and it was just the right amount of spice. Enough to keep you interested but not blow your head off. I struggle with portion sizes being too small in Japan. Sometimes restaurants provide an option to get a larger serving of rice, but I don’t want more carbs. I want more of the dish. Both the curry and rice portions were generous here. But the cherry on the top was that the vegetarian menu doesn’t come with the salad bar. It’s only with the standard menu which is slightly cheaper. The manager was kind enough to offer me the salad bar for free. It was really fresh and tasty. They have some interesting dressings too, not just the standard ones you get in Japan. If you’re on your own, they have bar style seating facing Tokyo Bay. The restaurant is located within the Aqua City shopping centre on the 6th floor. The nearest station is Daiba on the Yurikamome. I’ll...
Read moreGreen Asia is a Southeast Asian restaurant located in Odaiba at the Tokyo Venus Fort. They offer a lunch buffet and a variety of dishes that you'd find in the region.
We came here as it was one of the only places to remotely offer a plant-based option for me in Odaiba. They have a small vegetarian menu but most items didn't seem able to be veganized, so I kept it simple and went with their vegetable green curry and rice.
The curry was perfectly fine with nothing to really write home about. Kind of bummed some of the more interesting vegetarian dishes could be made vegan, but at least there was a fair amount of curry provided.
While food was simply okay, I did enjoy sitting at the counter with a view of the Tokyo Bay if you are traveling in a smaller party. Everyone inside was also friendly - just wished the food could've been a bit...
Read moreThe place was great it was big and the tables weren‘t that near to each other. The food was delicious! Can‘t say much because i only ordered 2 fried chicken but just those 2 fried chicken’s looked so fancy! It also came with a sauce and a lemon on top. You can below the picture. My family ordered quite more and they also said it was delicious. Yet alone the view outside is beautiful. I recommend getting the window seat inside. And also at night when the lights are on! The staff was also amazing. As a non japanese speaker i could only speak english to them. I could tell that some staff didn‘t really talk good English but they still tried their best to communicate. They also have a big option of food. They even have a vegetarian and kids menu! (I believe). Anyways i had an amazing time and hope to...
