During my stay in Tokyo, I happened to visit this restaurant, and it quickly became one of the most memorable dining experiences of my trip. The grilled fish was outstanding — perfectly cooked with a crisp exterior while remaining moist and tender inside. Most importantly, there was absolutely no fishy aftertaste. You can truly feel the care and skill that goes into preparing each dish, especially in how fresh and clean the flavors were.
The rice bowl was also exceptional. It offered a gentle yet deeply satisfying flavor, well-balanced and comforting from the first bite to the last. The seasoning and ingredients blended beautifully, making it one of those dishes you finish without realizing how quickly the bowl gets empty. The soba had a unique character as well — not just a typical noodle dish, but one with a distinctive taste that clearly reflects the chef’s thoughtful approach. The broth and noodles paired harmoniously, carrying a subtle aroma and flavor that linger pleasantly.
Alongside the wonderful food, the hospitality was truly heartwarming. Tasfia was incredibly kind and attentive, and her thoughtful service made the entire experience even more special. From the moment I arrived to the last step out the door, I felt genuinely welcomed and well cared for.
Overall, this restaurant excels in flavor, atmosphere, and hospitality. It’s a place I would gladly recommend to anyone visiting Tokyo, and without a doubt, I would love to return on my next trip. Thank you for creating such a warm and memorable dining moment — it truly elevated my...
Read moreWe were taken there as a true Japanese experience. The service was terrible the food not much better. It was a dump and run with no explanation as to what each dish was. They have no idea as to how to conduct themselves as wait staff the bar was full of dirty glasses at one end and the dishes that were cleared from tables were dumped at the other end so the bar girl was working in clutter. What happened to clear as you go and straight to the dishwasher it would save such an unholy mess The poor bar girl was drowning in dirty glasses and drink orders , the bar girl had no idea as to how to pull a beer and other drinks were only 3/4 full when delivered She either didn't know what to do properly or was poorly trained. There was no form of teamwork shown . A lot of the time the staff stood around or chatting. Behind the front counter where guests can pay their bill there was clutter there as well such as mops brooms etc. We were not impressed at all Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone...
Read moreLovely place. The service was a little slow but it wasn't horrible. The staff doesn't speak English very well, but they offer an English menu that is really easy to understand. The skewers weren't available at all, I don't know why. I took the gonpachi menu and it was incredible. The salad and the miso soup were fantastic, the soup was full of flavor. I'm not a big fan of soba but I still enjoyed it a lot, and I ate the rice, egg and chicken main dish. It was a bit short of salt but it was still delicious. I also ate the zenzai which wasn't my favourite thing (I don't enjoy mochi a lot) but it was still very good and I finished it all. It feels like a very authentic restaurant and it was overall a great experience, with amazing food, foreigner friendly, and they also offer free refills for the miso and the oolong tea. I would love...
