I've been for both lunch and dinner. The lunch menu is much more affordable than dinner since their lunch sets basically lines up with all the other restaurants in the area. They're usually pretty quiet during the weekday so you can enjoy the view in peace. The waiters were attentive and we enjoyed some chitchat; they spoke English and Japanese, and I'm assuming they can speak Hindi, so communication should be no problem. The dinner menu is noticeably pricier although you could say the extra is for the ambience. The dinner menu has a much larger variety of food too, and I liked their choices on the dessert menu. The food was good, I'm a big fan of the large soft naan, but I don't really have any experience to comment on the curry, except that they were tasty to me. I also liked how the spiciness level was higher than the average...
Read moreThis Indian restaurant has a beautiful view of the Rainbow Bridge, and at night, the city lights add to the beauty. The restaurant also has a nice vibe, and you can enjoy Indian music played using a projector.
As for the food, we ordered biryani, various curries, naan, barbecue—all of them were good, and you can definitely taste the spices. My favorite is the butter chicken and cheese naan, which were so good combined together. For drinks, I tried the mango lassi, which has a bit of sour taste, and for dessert, I tried the gulab jamun, but it was too sweet for my liking. Overall, I liked it and might come back to try other items I haven't tasted, like the chai, and order the cheese naan and butter...
Read moreWe went there for lunch. The place: Good location and a decent sized restaurant. Simple but nice interiors. Nice view of the beach and Rainbow Bridge. Would be fabulous at night. This is what has earner them the 2 stars. The food: They had only set menus. We ordered the veg options. The first Indian restaurant in Tokyo where I found the food to be tasteless. I ended up leaving half the food on my plate. The service: There was only one waiter who was also the cashier. And add to that the attitude. Made me feel that he was obliging me by serving me. And to get his attention for small things like water refills was tough.
Verdict- Not visiting there again. I can watch the beach...
