Good comfort food at very reasonable prices. They have half orders for gyoza and fried rice. And finally after over a week in Japan, was able to eat sautéed vegetables, not salad or tempura but real vegetables 😋
Nothing fancy, there are real menus (photos attached) and there is the e menu as well where you place your order. Quite an extensive menu - they have ramen, fried stuff like chicken tori kara age, tonkatsu etc and so different from a lot of the other restaurants which seem to only have ramen or soba and that’s it. There’s a wide range here of sautees, and lots of dishes with vegetables.
Will definitely return. Half gyoza, half fried rice and full order of yasai itame total ¥890 served to you at the table.

Hidakaya is a Ramen chain in Japan.
I stopped by during lunch for a quick bite to eat. No tourists here, filled with locals getting down on their lunch hour. Very little to no English spoken... so a lot more of point and hope for the best.
I ended up getting some sort or Ramen Combination, not the best or greatest, but definitely edible. I reckon value it the them of this place, as my meal was cheap... $5 or $6 if I recall...
