餃子屋台 — Restaurant in Tokyo

Avoid this place at all costs! The lady was seemingly annoyed of us the moment she saw us, and immediately requested us to move to another table even though no one else was there for the whole time. For the whole time her attitude was really hostile towards us and it was clear she didn’t like us being there.

When ordering we made it absolutely clear that we don’t eat meat, but still received a dish with pork. We returned the dish and they still made us pay for it - we even tried to pay half of it but she took the 1000yen bill from our table and gave us the wrong change. At times she even got physical while speaking japanese angrily to us and laughing condescendingly at our attempts to communicate. In the end they were threatening us with police so we decided it’s better to just walk away.

The worst thing was that the food was really bad. Would recommend staying away from this place, definitely...

I don’t really write too many reviews but this place really shocked me with their service(and not in the good way). Never in my life here on earth have I been denied water in a restaurant. When we asked for water, the waitress said that people at this restaurant just drink alcohol. When I drank my bottled tea after she had denied us water, she said I couldn’t drink it. I guess they aren’t a fan of basic human rights here. After that she just kept staring at us with a look of disdain.

She seemed to pick and choose who she was nice to, and unfortunately we were not picked. Only God knows why..

To that lady: is denying someone water really worth the 300¥ and a low...

We came here last summer on our trip to Japan and we are still thinking about our food here! Frankly, it was one of the best we had during our whole trip and we ended up coming back three times. Even though the waitress didn't speak much English and we didn't speak much Japanese, we managed to understand each other thanks to pointing and the English menu they had. One evening my brother forgot his umbrella and the waitress ran down several blocks to give it back to us, she was just that nice! Our favourites were the gyoza's and the peanut chicken. Oh and it was also an incredible value for money so...
