Easily the best Indian place I’ve been to. The prices were super affordable: I got a chicken curry set and my wife got a mutton curry set; we both got mango lassis. (Both sets for under ¥1,000.) They also give you another piece of na’an in your lunch set if you ask. Only thing that I might not have liked is that there “level 5” max spice level is not that spicy—if you’ve had ghost pepper, Carolina reaper type of spice, this spice level is kinda cute— ;).
Dining in was super nice especially for lunch because we were the only ones there. The restaurant is cozy and tucked away in an alley and not smack in the middle of traffic heavy Asakusa area. A nice gentleman and uncle were the only two working inside the restaurant. The space felt very nice and intimate especially for lunch time. I would visit this restaurant a few more times if I ever visit Tokyo again to get some good Indian...
Read moreOrdered the 2 curry set with the hot mutton curry and the sag paneer. Both were very flavorful and well-seasoned. It came with a few extras - salad, a drink, and a chicken dish. The mango lassi was delicious, and I also upgraded to the cheese naan, which I highly recommend (they are VERY generous with the naan; I had trouble finishing it!) The menu comes in both English and Japanese, and the English translation is very good; the gentleman that served us was also very friendly and spoke very good English. Highly recommended if you're looking for a good Indian place in the area that's accommodating...
